Understanding the legacy of the Soviet-Afghan War, and how its aftermath strained relations between Washington and Islamabad, can shed light of ways to move forward in Afghanistan today, and extricate U.S. troops from this volatile part of the world... read.

AUDIO: A logical look at Afghanistan: LISTEN

AUDIO: Advice to Obama: Afghanistan and Pakistan: Listen.

Malou Innocent, a foreign policy analyst at the Cato Institute , visited Pakistan late last year to get a better sense of how developments within Pakistan shape its foreign policy toward the United States...

Those of us that missed the era of 1979-80 seem to be more apt to look objectively... Malou Innocent states, "In the future we should take Afghanistan as it is, rather than what we want it to be"... To me, this means helping to bring stability to the region; as will reflect the 'best of its history'...

VIDEO: There are solutions: View.
Many do not want to hear what went wrong, thus do not have a correct grasp of a solution... What Obama Should Do in Pakistan read.

And that solution might very well look like this:
"Rather than "surge" into this volatile region, the president should consider the strategic and political significance of Afghanistan's surrounding neighbors and engage in regional efforts to broker dialogue... AUDIO.

Military action is "the only solution," Jens Martin Jensen, interim chief executive officer of Frontline Ltd.'s management unit, the world's biggest owner of supertankers, said in a telephone interview. U.S. ties Caracas to Hezbollah aid

The Militant Group Needs no Introduction

-Posted by D. Worth (US) | for- M. Barbay (France)

arming and training Shiite militias in IraqKhatami, "Fomenting violence abroad is treason" -Story
They claim to be opposed to foreign occupation... When in fact, their militias have become the largest occupiers and violators of sovereignty, in the entire region! But never mind that they currently jeprodize other's ability to find resolution; they currently occupy islands which would require their exit by the international courts...

Their support for insurgencies proceeds through third parties and is mostly limited to weapons transfers... But dispite the firm evidence, their part in distabilization, speaks loudest in their lack of decency to impact a responsible condemnation of it... Instead, they brag about their weaponry as their armies slowly enroach upon others territories...

The biggest insult is how they call themselves the strength of the region...
But they'll never be moderate, pragmatic leaders regulating their conflicts through negotiations... Because they live in poverty and inner violence, jail their intellectuals, and discourage individually growth-oriented followers.

Their trade-mark is providing 'fire and mortars' in order to 'antagonize and provolk'.... And some how you realize that the worse is yet to come.
Because their reliance upon 'deteriorating conditions' in their 'targeted territories' might someday be all too slow for them...

Xinjiang Muslims: Next Target of al-Qaeda

-Posted by D. Worth (US) | for- M. Barbay (France)

Is China's Xinjiang Region being dished the same al-Qaeda strategy which has led to the expansion of Western occupation in the Middle East?
Observing this group's 'standard-form pattern'... The answer is, yes.

The difference? China cares less for World opinion, and more for survival and safety. And China does now have terror appoligists working against their purge of terrorism... Or (without question) is soon to have fewer.

al-Qaeda calls the region Tukimenistan; will china call it 'mass deportation' of the latest unfortunate Muslim populations, to come under al-Qaeda's curse?

The West is beginning to understand that the spread of terrorism is preportunate to populations who protest the curbs against Freedoms... But today should be an eye-opener, as al-Qaeda groups inch toward China; banking on the destruction of China as a key to the final dust-bin of America...

The Video (below) is not meant to be used as a phobic dance against Muslims; rather to highlight the spread of radicalized jihad, and its impact upon society of ALL people. The success of China's hard line to impact drastic measures; will be viewed all across the board... al-Qaeda acting as "Freedom-Fighters" against "oppressive China"??... Mullah's IRGC (So. America Expansion)

Iran: Mullahs' Eye on Latin America
Friday, 29 February 2008

Cross posted article - Author: Reza Shafa
NCRI Foreign Affairs (Bio at bottom of post)

It has been quite sometime now that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has its eye on the Latin America as a fresh opportunity...
The underdogs -- as it has been in similar cases in Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine and elsewhere that the IRGC set its foot -- are the poor people of that region. It usually arrives with packages of irresistible offers to the needy host nations with such lucrative deals like renovating their infrastructures; most of the targeted countries are in desperate need of road constructing, airport renovations, ports rebuilding etc...

Lebanon is a prime example when IRGC arrived looking like a savior just sent from heaves right after the 33-day war in 2006 to help the tormented people of the region, which itself, according to credible information from inside sources within the mullahs' regime, helped ignite the war in the first place . IRGC is examining the following targets to begin in Central America:
Nicaragua
This time Nicaragua is the prey. The IRGC is following the same old tactics it used in other countries; presenting Managua with solutions to ease its financial troubles but with a slight difference in this case of first offering to give military aid to the country for modernizing its army, according to latest information received from the inside sources in Iran.

IRGC agents arrived in Monkey Point in Nicaragua's Atlantic Cost to start building a road with the purpose of getting the old military airport up and running in the region. The project is financed, as a joint venture, with Venezuela and the Iranian regime.

Apart from military assistance, the mullahs' regime, under the pretext of promoting cultural issues through media advertisements, has dispatched a number of teams to produce T.V. programs in Managua. However, their real mission is to find ways in which the clerical regime may precede with its cynical intentions.

Bolivia
On February 19, the Bolivia's president Evo Morales announced that the Iranian regime is planning to open a television station covering the "entire Latin America," in his country. The statement was condemned by the US and a congressional delegation went to La Paz to warn that country against the mullahs' meddling in the Central American nation.

Venezuela
Recently, the Organization of Islamic Culture and Communications opened an office in Caracas, Venezuela. With the help of the mullahs' embassy in the country a center has been opened called "Islamic center of Imam Hadi."

Apparently the new organization is established to encourage Islamic teachings but it is in the business of expanding fundamentalist ideas which in time would nourish terrorism. It does not have an official sign; however, it is run by a Lebanese cleric named Sheik Sam Hamdani with close ties to Tehran.

------
Reza Shafa is an expert on the Iranian regime’s intelligence networks, both in Iran and abroad. He has done extensive research on VAVAK (MOIS), IRGC’s Intelligence Office, and Quds Force among others. Currently he is a contributor to NCRI website.

Iranians Plant Their Flag in Wilds of Nicaragua
Article
While Iranian money has yet to materialize, the embassy that national security experts most fear as cover for terrorist plots is up and running. Revolutionary Guard operatives reportedly have been moving in and out of the country. In one instance, a senior government minister allowed 21 Iranian men to enter secretly without passport processing.

The longevity of any Iranian presence in Nicaragua may depend on whether it helps Mr. Ortega maintain his razor-thin margin of public support. Influential domestic opponents of the administration are ramping up strong criticism of the alliance, while Nicaragua's poor will support it unless promises go unfulfilled.

Unlike in Venezuela, the Americans have kept a tight lid on any official response to the Iranian move into Nicaragua, suggesting, as several intelligence officials speculate, heightened counter-espionage activity.

Upon arriving in Managua, I linked up with a local interpreter to track down the Iranians and get them talking. In Managua's exclusive suburb of Las Colinas, I finally noticed the distinctive red, white, and green flag of Iran hanging limply from a pole poking up beyond rolls of concertina wire that lined the 12-foot-high walls of a compound. Iran's new envoy to Nicaragua, Akbar Esmaeil-Pour, now calls the mansion inside home...read more

-Posted by D. Worth (US) | for- M. Barbay (France)
"I don't believe that the majority of Shiites support Hezbollah in changing south Lebanon into scorched earth."
-Minister of Communications Marwan Hamade

Proxy wars for political assurance; and now we find Lebanon on another battered path... But many claim that this path looks strangely reminiscent of the 80's...
Hamade noted that Qatar managed to withdraw its contingent serving with UNIFIL in south Lebanon early in February because "it felt that something is being planned for south Lebanon and because no one wants to go back to the 1980s" in reference to the abduction of foreigners by pro-Iranian factions. But the hallmark riots between rival political factions, in a time where kidnappings and murders succeeded in making peace-keepers into villains; look just like, today...

Middle East leaders are Cautioned:
Hamade said Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Abdul Aziz Khoja was cautioned by Arab and Lebanese security agencies against specific threats and advised to take precautions. "Such a warning was also addressed to many diplomats and Lebanese leaders." Read more.

Outside View: Suicide bombing a crime
HISTORY: From its modern genesis in Hezbollah's 1983 suicide car bombings of the U.S. Marine Corps and French military barracks in Beirut, Lebanon, which killed 241 Marines and at least 58 French soldiers, suicide bombings have spread worldwide.
Suicide bombings are now a staple of jihadist and secular terrorism alike. Terrorist networks, insurgents and gangs, operating outside of the state system and traditional political boundaries, use suicide terrorism, along with the targeting of civilians, and attacks against humanitarian agencies...

Extremist Jihadi: Quest is not the West

-Posted by D. Worth (US) | For- m. barbay (France)
We are seeing al-Qaeda's recruitment of 'unrelated' World grievances to amass strength; impact independent Nations, elections, & Sovereign Rule...
But al-Qaeda's goal looks more to me like Mid-East "REGIONAL QUESTS" of which Suicide Militant Jihadists topple Islamic States; and over-power Kingdom Rule...
Found this Video which confirms this assertion!
(As al-Qaeda hopes to gain supremacy via Regional cooperative)
Radical Militants use West as "tool" to gain control over East.
Dr. "H" addresses the popular thought which suggests that "fighting against" these Militant Jihadis, is causing mass recruitment; when in fact, mass recruitments are found in countries of which extremists are failing to be marginalized."
Mauritania killings may be new Qaeda chapter
Dr. "H" says that regions below (with strike-through) suffer enormous challences; but NOTHING like a merging increase of al-Qaeda's assassination attempts; geared to 'quicken':
Their 'Political dismantle' of the following countries:

Afghanistan, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Chechnya, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea Bissau, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kashmir, Kazakhstan, Kurdistan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Yemen, e. China (East Turkestan), Tibet, inc. certain areas in central Russia.

Some doth protest inaccurately... Extremist Jihadis 'Quest is not the West... As blame upon the West, serves to masque the threat; one must examine the serious consequence of the absence of Western fighters, with an Obama Presidential win... Consider a VOTE for McCain... who does not deny the al-Qaeda threat.
Dr. "H" (Alexandria) believes that the foreign cooperative to monitor the links to Militant Suicide Networks; must not be discontinued by US Democrat Congress... Attacks, he says, are a progressive form of Islamic Anarchism as was Luxor attack (Egypt) which arranged a coup d’état (1996).
Int'l Collation of Western terror fighters are essential to M. East.

Only Pakistan UNITY will Quell Tide of Militancy

Remembering Pakistan: Photo shoot by Pierre in Pakistan during his nearly 2 years stay in Lahore. -Beautiful piece about him, at last of film ... (RIP)

VIDEO: Worst Time in History for Pakistan

And leave it to U.S. Clintons to blame Musharraf’s Governmental practices for the Bhutto attack! Why it never occours to them to blame extremism, is a "dangerously common" party trait.
DO NOT VOTE THIS COUPLE INTO U.S. OFFICE!

Minority Terror groups have learned to manipulate populations into forming disunity, as an opening for their take-over... Take a look at Lebanon!
If terror is to EXIT; it will be through the support of Pakistan Unity.

In America Democracy is the People... But it is NOT magic. ANY leader amidst Terrorist Radicalization will be the wrong leader. Today Pakistan is a Nation against minority extremists! These extremists have been led astray, but can be given new HOPE... I believe they can be reformed.

Rubble in Algiers - AQIM Warns Europe

AQIM, in an effort to ramp up its violent struggle to bring down the Algerian government; aimed bombs at the Algerian political structure; resulting in the loss of 62 lives this morning... Terror-warnings issued for Europe.

One might want to take a serious look at these threats toward a Nation who has not subscribed to military interventions... France!
And AQIM's strategy which promises deadly future actions...

The area of belief that the 'eradication of terror' greatly contributes to its growth; should be measured with the assumption that Terror Groups scan be reasoned with... We should remember Saudi King Abdullah's latest visit as he spoke of Great Britian's need to do more to fight terror. He is completely correct...
هذه هي هجمات ضد الاسلام

Attack in Algiers: al-Qaeda Warning to Europe
From the Attack this A.M. in Algerian capital of Algiers (killing 62)
"Given the personalized nature of that renewed fury, however, why didn't the AQIM seek a terror attack on Sarkozy or French interests during his state visit to Algeria last month?
"Success," explains the French counter-terrorism official. "Trying to kill a visiting leader or bomb a place he's set to visit while security alerts are full is not going to work. Waiting a week until security has slackened to below even normal levels to attack - your chances of success get much better."
According to News Reports:
"French Security Officials say that AQIM's organizational effectiveness makes it the largest risk of non-homegrown terror to continental Europe...

The French, who keep a very close eye on suspected terror cells on their own territory, are nervous that the AQIM cells from Algeria may be rolled out against France and other European nations, all relatively easy to reach from just across the Mediterranean."
- Bruce Crumley
All about "Sarkozy's friendlier relations with the U.S?" These extremists hold Curious similarities with those who greatly undermine a concerned Int'l community.
