Reason-Rupe Poll: 96% Fear Federal Debt, 74% Want Spending Cap, & More

-Posted by D.C. Worth, for Barbay (France/US)

So... We're a "representational Government" who preaches to many countries, the importance of listening to the will of the people..... As today's White house attacks issues NOT TIED to spending; which prompts the need for MORE spending...

Interesting Poll by ReasonTV....

Los Angeles (May 3, 2011) — As the federal government rapidly approaches the $14.3 trillion debt ceiling, 96 percent of Americans say it is important to reduce the national debt, according to a new Reason Foundation-Rupe poll. Of those surveyed, 69 percent believe reducing the national debt is "very important."

How many trillions would we save by scrapping 1/2 of the Bureaucrats; for the place of a Constitutional, and truly representational "open-source" Govt?
-Not an Oligarchy, not a Soviet..... A Govt by the people.

When you subtract high costs of maintaining each Bureaucrat, their bad policies; and foreign "give-aways" of Tax-payer's "borrowed money"... The people (Government) could enjoy a lenient tax structure; and ability to balance our (smaller) budget; in a reasonable amount of years...

Leaking boat is full of water; & only Govt bureaucrats suggest taxing the people, to put more Govt bureaucrats in the boat; to row faster...
