In the old days, Britain would have brought down the wrath of God on these people.
This incident is just one more 'tick' in the ticking time bomb the world has had to endure since Bush and Blair illegally invaded and occupied Iraq.
>brought down the wrath
CUG! Yes, Britain would have... And when the chips are down, they will.
The chips are down, now! (`O`)
The Iranians are trying to make anyone who will listen understand that they want to be a major player in the war. What they did was issue an "Attack Me and See What Happens" challenge! With Democrats feeling their wheeties in congress, it will give them the energy to run away at top speed.
Bush is too Latin America focused right now. What with his attempts to give amnesty to illegals, he's assured Calderone that we will NEVER build a wall on the border. Bush will have to divert his attention back to the middle east.
If he looks east, Bush may act but will be roadblocked at every turn by Democrats.
jrfjr...I agree...and understand your concerns...This is a dividing issue amongst many…
With respect towards a wall: Unfortunately there is much more here, than meets the eye…US relationship with South America and Mexico have a HUGE impact on the safety of America.
The key remains to be a drug enemy, their intent, amongst complicated border issues and the many drug running gangs currently in our country… (Remember the al-Qaeda-style Guerrilla camps with launchers, tanks, and other weaponry spotted to be staged amongst the Mexican terrain?)
They are the same groups which ‘militarily over-powered’ border protection earlier this month… We lost...It was quite a scene. :| It's a "plant has to be cut at the root" problem.
Failure to address issues at their deepest level, is why ANY problem progresses as far as it does... (Iranian Universal Rights not excluded.)
