India: A Celebration and Awakening

60th Independence Day. Wishing all those in India...

Including my studies in college along with Law, I studied Philosophy and Religion. The awakenings were some of the most beautiful and Peaceful journeys, which have enabled me to experience many valuable lessons with many wonderful people...Not only in countries visited, but in all areas of my life...

Indian PM Singh's comments, urging Pakistan to fulfill terror pledge, were made in his customary address to the nation on the anniversary of India's independence from British rule in 1947, being marked this year amid unprecedented security due to heightened fears of violence.

PM Singh's sincere plea (above) came a day after Pakistan celebrated the anniversary of its own independence 59 years ago when the Islamic nation was born after the partition of India...

India, which happily became Republic on the 26th Jan, 1950, also became a sovereign democratic republic with a written constitution and an elected parliament...
