Indian PM Singh's comments, urging Pakistan to fulfill terror pledge, were made in his customary address to the nation on the anniversary of India's independence from British rule in 1947, being marked this year amid unprecedented security due to heightened fears of violence.
PM Singh's sincere plea (above) came a day after Pakistan celebrated the anniversary of its own independence 59 years ago when the Islamic nation was born after the partition of India...
India, which happily became Republic on the 26th Jan, 1950, also became a sovereign democratic republic with a written constitution and an elected parliament...
