Grand Canyon and Mars (déjà vu)

Wow! An 8' leap for a better shot! here.
My intuition tells me that our sampler arrival on Mars will reveal 'subject composition' to further-explain the infamous Grand Canyon (crater!)

A huge Mars canyon system about 2,000 miles long and 5 miles deep!

Wow, it (somehow) appears to hold an Indian signature. THEMIS imaging!

Mission controllers had raised the spacecraft's aerobraking orbit...
to study the unexpected motion of one of the Surveyor's solar panels.
They're martians after all...

UPDATE: This animated image shows Mars in motion (1999 to 2005.) Images from the Mars Orbiter Camera aboard the Mars Global Surveyor spacecraft had documented dramatic changes in Mars south polar cap!
