The lovely Rosette Nebula (aka NGC 2237) below, is my favorite of the cosmic clouds which evoke the imagery of flowers...And it says here that the petals of this rose, are actually a stellar nursery...

The stars in the energetic cluster, cataloged as NGC 2244, are only a few million years old, while the central cavity in the Rosette Nebula is about 50 light-years in diameter.Very quick post, as I'm still away (Moujan, Fr.) .. and wishing you a very lovely Day... Keep positive thoughts ... M.B.
