The Lovely Poltimore Tiara...

Go to the London Auction-6/ 13-14

The sad part about it...
It will probably end up in a glass case somewhere.

-Collector's Auction; Hong Kong-

Pictured here: Helen Molesworth, a Christie's specialist,
as she holds an antique Poltimore tiara from the Princess
Margaret collection. Available at auction, today (May 26th)
at auction house in Hong Kong... Evidently, the estimated
value of the tiara : US$0.37 million ...(HK$2.9 million) This
looked familiar...In my travels of jewelry admiration... as
was originally designed (as the story goes) for the wife of
the second Baron Poltimore in 1870.

A truly difficult fashion accessory to wear...
Without seeming to be an ittsy-bit, Egocentric...

-TRESOR has more here: here, and here!

Christies-list: Jewellery offered is neither part of the
Crown Jewels nor part of the Royal Collection
