ISLAM: Removing Religious Transgression

I have struggled with the concept of a "Religion of Peace" which
has a propensity to turn its head and pray alongside: "Islamic Militants", "Muslim Separatists", "Radical Muslims", and "Islamic Fundamentalists"...
When I know that they key to Peace, is found in: 'exposing the hypocrisy.'It is interesting that when the Islamic culture speaks of excommunication, they refer to the terrorist who 'excommunicates' and resorts to violence...
However..."In the West, we protect the integrity of
organizations or religious cultures, by
excommunicating the offender."
But after reading, "Iran Awakening: A Memoir Of Revolution And Hope", by the Nobel Laureate, Shirin Ebadi...(Who gave a lecture at UCLA)
I understand, that etchings of contradictions amongst Islam's religious indoctrination, are simply many of the teachings as were subverted to establish a despotic tyrannical state in the name of Islam; 'over time.' It is essential for peace that the people question. The more that intellectuals are coming forward to expose these transgressions of the doctrines, more will find it safe to question!" -M.B.
