All You Need Is Love' Lyric: $1 Million in Beatles Sale

July 29 (Bloomberg) -- A handwritten lyric of the Beatles song, ``All You Need is Love,'' sold for a hammer price of 600,000 pounds ($1 million) last night at a sale of John Lennon memorabilia in London's Hippodrome rock-music venue.
An anonymous bidder in the room competed with a telephone buyer for the manuscript. The sale broke the previous record for a Beatles lyric of 250,000 pounds for ``Nowhere Man,'' according to John Collins, owner of Surrey, England-based auction house Cooper Owen Plc. Continue with article.
