An international team of paleontologists have discovered a 55-million year old fossil of a primitive rabbit in Mongolia's Gobi Desert, predating earlier finds by 20 million years.
This find deepens our biological understanding of a creature that plays a leading role in folklore around the world, not least as an Easter symbol of fertility and renewal. Read more.
