Norquist explains that the reason Obama liked Simpson-Bowles plan, was that in the middle of it was a $2 or $3 trillion tax increase over the next decade. There were in theory some spending cuts... BUT:
Obama never put any of those into his budget. Unfortunately all you get from putting Simpson-Bowles on the table is a tax increase, no spending cuts." [Read]

Liberals "lick their chops" at MORE taxation which = more Liberal spending.... While Americans can hardly afford to put "chops on the table." .. Need I say, 2012 can't come quickly enough!
