The Art of Gustav Klimt-- (July 14- 1862)

-Posted by D.C. Worth, for Barbay (France/US)

Artists continue to have birthdays.... And the world continues to be rediscovered... We always remember the past of Peace; and think the world is descending into ciaos.... But it is really just the same Mosaic.... Only the perspective has changed.

Adele Bloch-Bauer I (Gustav Klimt)

His Nuda Verita (1899) defined his bid to further shake up the establishment...
The starkly naked red-headed woman holds the mirror of truth, while above it is a quote by Schiller in stylized lettering, "If you cannot please everyone with your deeds and your art, please a few. To please many is bad."
