The Supreme Court has power (superseding that of all other courts) to examine federal and state statutes and executive actions to determine whether they conform to the U.S. Constitution.
It is becoming clear in the Kagan hearings, that favoring anti-constitutional executive action, will FURTHER US away from current Constitutional protections. In my view, toward absolute tyranny.
Our Freedoms are non negotiable... One need look no further than the Gulf of Mexico, to see the drastic failure of the work of [EPA] Bureaucrats over our State's Rights... These are massive mistakes.
