Think good thoughts, joyful thoughts... have faith.
I believe that ice-melt/re-freeze (North & South poles) is the natural balance of earth's re-hydration process... And that earth will re-balance in harmony, as is required. Judging throughout the ages, nothing leads me to believe that earth-shift will be convenient... But it will be transformational.
It is whether of not man's hysteria is beneficial; when it is only essential that he become a excellent guest... And to realize that this is Earth's dance. :)

As water-levels decline, new species and bottom sea dwellers rise... Humm. Drought looks to me like a progressive, "earth-mass" state of Tsunami... and the great process of re-flushing of deep earth cavities. Every sign that there is great turbulence and land mass shift below the sea...
