Video: Rhetoric vs. Reality | Update: US getting HCAN'ed on healthcare reform

-Posted by D. Worth (US) | for- M. Barbay (France)

National Taxpayers Union examines Obama's rhetoric on health care reform, and then compares this with the actual reality of the legislation... Today, the many who have read the bill deserve essential answers, but are denied; & then swiftly shut out of debate.

Today, GOV-formed UNIONS muscle up to confront healthcare protesters demonized by the Media. AceHQ points to Verum Serum who has traced Obama ads to a "partner" organization to HCAN, the supposedly "grassroots" organization pushing ObamaCare... Remember, concerned citizens "dress like the Insurance companies" that Obamacare will eventually (in fact) bankrupt...

And go figure that the Big Pharm who give money to the Democrats, are suddenly off of their hit list, in a "Chicago way"...
But a direct quid pro quo to the tune of $150 million? AceHQ!

Anyway, same platitudes, different day...
Examine here, Obama's rhetoric used as misleading talking-points...

Politics and special interests once again dominate this debate, as Democrats crush opposition, by blurring citizens, Physicians, & Ins Companies, into one.

For now, its "Chicago Way" for those heavily invested in the real engine for health technology & innovation; but history should be examined clearly:

Author, Jim Powell, senior fellow at CATO! writes of the New Deal programs that were financed by tripling federal taxes from $1.6 billion in 1933 to $5.3 billion in 1940. Excise taxes, personal income taxes, inheritance taxes, corporate income taxes, holding company taxes and so-called "excess profits" taxes all went up...

Many negative impacts include: A number of New Deal laws, including some 700 industrial cartel codes, made it more expensive for employers to hire people, and this discouraged hiring. Read.

NEW DATA from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) shows that the U.S. corporate tax rate has fallen even further out of step with the rest of the industrialized world...read.

Democrats are hungry for a foot-print, but the tracks of failed 1938 programs still weigh heavily against growth and productivity of Americans today... A 1938-style policy; deemed unconstitutional, but similarly forced upon Society.
