MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Immigration, trade disputes and concern about the rise in China's economic power will top the agenda at a summit next month between U.S. President George W. Bush, Mexican President Vicente Fox and new Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

Mexico's foreign ministry said on Monday the summit will be held March 30-31 in the Caribbean resort town of Cancun, and will cap a series of meetings between U.S. and Mexican officials on border security and other issues.

Many issues on the table are the same as at last year's meeting between Bush, Fox and Harper's predecessor Paul Martin: Mexico's desire for immigration reform in the United States, trade disputes between the United States and Canada, and concerns among all three governments about the rising economic clout of China and India.

Geronimo Gutierrez, a deputy secretary for North America in the foreign ministry, told local radio Bush and Fox are expected to talk separately as well.

Security along the U.S. Mexico border has been a source of tension between the two governments and would also likely be on the agenda of a bilateral meeting.

Border violence has spiraled on the border and elsewhere since Fox declared war on drug cartels a year ago.
