[Walrus Island; SGS Alaska-05]
It's the season in the Pacific again, where hundreds of walruses line the costal edge, forming a massive pink ridge. Alaska Department of Fish and Game monitor these rarely viewed species, which only inhabit the remote areas of the Bering and Chukchi seas.

"I remember, as a small child, having viewed them (relatively up close.) They're enormous, loud, and very hyper! I’ll never forget how a thousand pound walrus could run shy of a little 50 lb girl, like me." (^_^)
