Now Lenient America?

Evidently, looks like things have changed since 1953 (Eisenhower) concerning betrayal of our country. This couple would have been granted clemency if was as lenient as our 2005 judicial system.
(They would now have been in their 70's- 80's.)


We live in a world today, of lengthy trials and plea bargains.
Sadly it is that betrayal, in many cases, often becomes a backdrop for freedom of expression.
