America: Home of the Brave

There is nothing brave about entering a country illegally to use government services, while avoiding taxes needed towards the community's municipal funding. The strain and stress of severe overcrowding in classrooms, harms the budget and contributes to the failing of schools. There is also nothing brave about subjecting hospitals to fiscal hardship, thus diminishing legal residents to substandard quality of care, or by committing crime on our streets, as a further drain to resources…

This is bravery (below)... And who is next?

According to some patriots, who stand with a firm reality for the future of their cities...It's -NOT- ok to enter our country without the proper respect for America's laws and protocol for immigration. As in many cities, this lawlessness has fueled the drug trade, given population to gangs and rise to crime...

"This is crazy," said Barletta, who took office in 2000. "People are afraid to walk the streets. There's going to be law and order back in Hazleton and I'm going to use every tool I possibly can."

New City Ordinance

Read the new city ordinance: Take a copy to your next city council meeting.
As Congress debates changes to the nation's immigration policy, some cities are taking matters into their own hands, saying they have no choice but to crack down on illegal immigrants themselves.

ABOVE: Mayor Lou Barletta (standing in his office, Wednesday, June 14, 2006, in Hazleton, Pa.) With tensions rising and its police department and municipal budget stretched thin, this small northeastern Pennsylvania city is about to begin what Barletta calls one of the toughest crackdowns on illegal immigrants anywhere in the United States.-UPDATE- Read Brian Bonner's article: One State Goes Soft on Illegal Aliens and Another Cracks Down... and then, follow the links below, and join us!
