Shortly after becoming a state senator in 1997, Obama told the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin that his experience working with the development industry had reinforced his belief in subsidizing private developers of affordable housing. more.
Unfortunately, Obama's housing Policy is not the "first grim look" at this Candidate... Although the media won't say a word... The candidate endorsed subsidies for private entrepreneurs to build low-income units... But, while he garnered support from developers, many projects in his former district have fallen into disrepair...

Growing oil demands of the world is setting wind to our sails; as US citizens step up to further implement programs to FULLY diversify our technology. I hope this will normalize prices around the globe. It must.
It will take policies of diversification, implemented by each state, rather than imposed by Washington... Because, while we are 52 states strong, we are also like 52 Nations; each of whom have the power to collectively diversify our energy needs, as relative to our Geography... Sorry Obama... Today (08) due to old infrastructure, US spikes thousands of barrels of Loss per day. Result: Higher gas prices and increased reliance on Foreign oil.

Bottom-line... Democrats, when in control, failed to legislate the correct policy which led to elimination of a recovered production in the US (east & west coasts & Alaska). There is a free market system for oil, but it also was altered by the production restrictions and the OPEC trust conditions.
When called to the task, Americans are more apt to work to implement the options in front of us... So far, we are a free people, and unless we succeed in voting in those who show us that they are willing to make moves on Nuclear energy, I am POSITIVE that the world will not fare well, in the next 5 years.

Here they are! NASA Field Testing Moon Spacesuits, Vehicles, Robots: Development of the Constellation system for the USA's eventual return to the moon (no later than 2020) has been underway; since President Bush announced the new initiative in 2004...(Not an exciting film, just visual)

I doubt if much of the World deserves US soldier protection... During U.S. Soldier's progress; the most frequent word troops said was: Why is this not being reported? -Media seems to be working opposite.

UPDATE: Iraqi Sheik Offers To Take FightStory. Omygosh, this is exactly how I feel... From (late) Sheik Sattar's brother: In Washington, Sheik Ahmad also met with some members of Congress. He said he told them that American soldiers should stay in Iraq for at least as long as it takes to rebuild Iraq's national army. The Democratic majority in Congress has tried and failed to mandate deadlines for the withdrawal of American troops from Iraq regardless of conditions on the ground...
"We have to rebuild a national Iraqi army, not built on sects, but the same way they built up the Anbar police," he said. "They must be well-armed, so they will be able to protect the country and all the American interests in the area. We also have to make a friendship treaty based on mutual respect between the two parties, and then the United States will be able to withdraw from Iraq, if they wish, and we will succeed in Iraq the same way America succeeded in Japan and Germany." read more.

Not the typical US soldier -- Brownfield studied both nuclear power and literature in university, and has always been a fan of museums -- he eventually gained their trust and access to their world.
About: After the show closes on June 21, Brownfield, no longer in the navy, plans to travel to Jordan or Syria to turn over the money from sales to the artists in the show.
Then, armed with his experience in Iraq -- on which he has written a book -- he will head to Bologna, Italy, where he plans to continue his studies.
